Iowa Lincoln Highway Heritage Byway Interpretive Panels

Make an Iowa Lincoln Highway Heritage Byway Interpretive Signage Request

The Lincoln Highway Heritage Byway has developed an Interpretive Plan Program for the length of the route between Clinton and Council Bluffs. Interpretive panels used in this program must use the Iowa Byway approved logo interpretative panel designs and approved bases. This establishes a consistent design for the traveler.

Basic Information You Need to Know

The Iowa Byway logo will be cut into each lower section of the weathered steel bases. Our bases have been designed for easy maintenance. We’ll obtain price quotes for you and send you a proof for your approval before the order is placed. Prices are determined by the quantity ordered and design time. Once the panels are installed, they become the property of the landowner and they are responsible for maintenance.

For the 2’x3’ panel, the main paragraph should be 61 words/367 characters, other paragraph 63 words/364 characters, the paragraph above a picture 20 words/125 characters, the small caption under a photo 30 words/227 characters, and titles should be limited to 6 words. Other base styles and size of panels are available.
