Pollinator Habitat Survey
Thank you to those who participated in this pilot project to restore pollinator habitat in Iowa.
The survey is now closed.

The Lincoln Highway National Heritage Byway in Iowa stretches from Clinton on the Mississippi in the east across 13 counties to Council Bluffs in the west, passing through 43 communities along the way. As the manager of the Lincoln Highway in Iowa, PRI would like to see restoration of native habitat, including pollinator habitat, along the entire roadway — such a project would require the participation of many people, businesses, and local governments.

One small step in this direction is that Prairie Rivers of Iowa is doing a pilot project in Ames. First we need to better understand what homeowners think are the barriers and benefits to establishing pollinator habitat in their yards.
