Testing water quality at many streams on the same day helps us narrow down where conservation efforts are most needed.  Citizen scientists have been testing Ioway Creek and its tributaries twice a year since 2008–site locations are shown here on an interactive web map. This year, we will be holding the event on a weekday to coordinate with Polk and Story counties, so we can compare even more creeks across Central Iowa.
