Explore creek critters and the winged world of butterflies, bumble bees, and hummingbirds at this family-friendly event presented by Prairie Rivers of Iowa and our conservation partners. Stop by Jennett Natural Heritage Area and the Berry Patch Farm between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. to hear about the wild bees that pollinate fruit and how to protect them through a variety of family activities.
Guided prairie walks at Jennett start at 10:00, 11:00, and noon. The Berry Patch Farm will have seasonal U-Pick fruits and berries. Please bring water and dress for warm weather.
